Join MyVRSpot for their 4th Annual Anti-Bullying Awareness Week Video Contest!
MyVRSpot will be accepting video entries for their 4th Annual Anti-Bullying Video Contest starting November 1, 2013. In support of National Bullying Awareness Week, November 17th - 23rd, we are focused on helping to promote bullying awareness among students in grades K-12. The contest encourages students to create their own Public Service Announcement (PSA) about Anti-Bullying, sending a clear and positive message that bullying is neither acceptable or inevitable in our schools and communities. Throughout the video contest process, we hope to share positive messages with thousands of schools and students throughout the country. With the recent events occurring from state to state, it is important to have open discussion and foster an environment of more acceptance and less hostility.
Submissions will be open the full month of November, so spread the news to your students so they can start planning and recording videos today!
MyVRSpot is challenging students in grades K-12 to create a video on the issue of bullying. Check out the video below of one of our previous year's winners to show to your students for inspiration. All contest entries must be original student-created work. Students can submit more than one entry, and can be either an individual or group effort. Videos should be no more than 100 MB.
The contest will begin on November 1st and entries must be received by Saturday November 30th, 2013.
Winners will be chosen based on the overall message that supports a zero tolerance attitude toward bullying. There will be a winning video per category: Elementary School, Middle School, and High School, as well an overall winner. Winning entries will be showcased throughout the month of December on the MyVRSpot system.
